Themes: Nine Variants, Not Nine Accent Colours
A theme that only swaps the tint is a setting. These change how the whole app is drawn.
What a variant changes
Each variant carries its own palette, typeface, corner radii, border weights, card treatment and background texture. Switching from Paper to Terminal is not a lighter blue — it is a different-looking application.
Even the charts follow. Each variant has its own eight-colour chart palette, its own segment shapes, and its own ring treatment: Midnight lifts the spending donut with a coloured glow, Pop gives it a hard ink shadow, Paper and Postcard sit flat like something printed.
| Variant | Character |
|---|---|
| Classic | Clean and familiar, with light and dark modes. |
| Midnight | Deep navy, easy on the eyes. The default. |
| Paper | Ink on cream, like something printed. |
| Pastel | Soft, quiet, high contrast where it matters. |
| Pop | Poster colour and hard ink shadows. |
| Terminal | Phosphor orange on near-black. |
| Plotter | Pen-plotter mint on black. |
| Postcard | Retro travel-poster terracotta and ochre. |
| Silver | Restrained greys and system blue. |
Free and Pro
Classic and Midnight are free. The other seven are part of Pro, which is honest about what you are paying for: the app works identically in all nine.
